Here’s What Our Residents & Families Say About St Peter’s

I would like to congratulate you and the management in running such a caring and efficient home. All the nuns and staff are so very kind, friendly, and cheerful and their willingness to help in every way possible has helped me to recuperate and feel so comfortable and happy here. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to my family, many friends and acquaintances, and I look forward to coming back and seeing you all in the future. With my sincere thanks, love and prayers.

I want to thank you all so much for the care and love you showed my Nan, not only in the last few weeks but the entire time she spent at St Peters. It was a joy to see how happy she was and that is entirely down to you all creating such a lovely environment. I cannot express how much it meant to us that you decide to care for her until her last breath. To Nan, St Peter was one step away from heaven so by caring for her you allowed the peaceful ending she wished for. Thank you all so much.

My Mother has had two very happy and contented years at St Peters and she will miss it and everyone very much. We will also miss you all and would like to say what a wonderful environment you have created at St Peters for your residents. We were so happy that mum settled in so well and so quickly thanks to the wonderful and caring staff.

I must apologise for being somewhat familiar but I’m not very good with names and there are so many of you! But the reason for this letter is to thank you all for making my mum as comfortable as possible in her last few months. I’m sure she was as happy as she could ever be in your car and you all managed to make her stay in such a lovely one, and with the backing of the nuns she was as good as in heaven before she left. Thank you all once again for all your care and attention. What has gone will be a source of inspiration to me and my brother for the rest of our lives.

It is a great comfort to us both that mum spent her last year or so with such a wonderful and kind group of people. She frequently told us that she could not have been in a better place. Your care and attention to her needs especially in her last few weeks was fantastic. The family wish to thank you all and the staff for your skill, patience and tenderness.

Somewhat belated, I am writing to thank you, and all the staff at St Peter’s for the truly exceptional love and care Mum received at your hands over the last few years. The last months have been traumatic for us all, but the Carers were at pains to ensure Mum had everything she could possible want and need.I would like you to pass on to all the staff; Carers, Housekeepers, Chef and Kitchen Staff, that we really appreciated their efforts and we know that Mum did too.I would like to mention everyone by name, but I feel sure I would forget to mention someone and that would be unforgivable, so I feel it best to say you must know just how special you all are and we couldn’t be more grateful that you were around to help at sunc a rotten time in our lives. When I am felling a little more in control of my emotions, if it is acceptable to you, I would love to come back to visit the ladies there. I miss them a lot and I know Mum would like me to do that. With sincere thanks again.
